People who are addicted to this drug will ditch school, work and other responsibilities to get the drugs. This is a clear indication that this drug is being abused. Users will experience mood swings and lack of sleep. The abuse of drugs can and will disrupt sleeping patterns. This is what causes mood swings. Other symptoms one may experience include panic attacks, anxiety and aggression. Some people may also experience irritability and disorientation.

If you or someone you love experience nervousness and insomnia, then the likely hood of abuse is prevalent; therefore, you need to act fast in order to quit the habit. This is one drug that can be very addictive, and you need to be extremely dedicated to quit.

If you or someone you love cannot do without this drug, then the individual in question has become addicted. This may lead to a change in heart rate and blood pressure, and may even end up depressed, especially if the individual wants to quit. All of these signs point toward Ritalin abuse.
